We worked with Gary on our new home build and can't recommend him enough. He was truly a godsend for us as we began the monumental challenge of building. He provided us with his reservoir of construction knowledge on a regular basis. He prepared a schedule for us at each phase and communicated with, directed and coordinated our sub-contractors to keep our project moving forward. He made himself available to us at any time - even when he went away on vacation, he continued to check in on our project. He was truly invaluable for us and we highly recommend him!

Gary Binder (and his son Allan) did an outstanding job building out our wine bar. They came prepared, were flexible with our budget, did exactly what we asked, and solved some really tricky problems that come with working on a 75 year old building. Would recommend them for anything. Very nice, very dependable, very professional.

Gary is a wonderful contractor who overhauled my kitchen while staying on our budget. That is a huge accomplishment considering it included moving gas lines, adding electricity, opening up walls and installing headers. Extraordinary Job! Gary Binder was fabulous, fast ( right on schedule) clean & knowledgeable.
We had a very difficult retileing of our 1950's kitchen counter top. Gary was able to replace the tile while saving the surrounding irreplaceable burgundy tile trim which no one else would attempt. We were thrilled with the completed work. It looks beautiful! He & his son were an efficient team.

Dear Gary,

It has now been 3 weeks since my family and I have settled into our new home in Pacific Palisades. And there hasn’t been a day that’s passed when we’ve not remarked about what a great job you did in leading a large and complex team.

We are so excited to see our children run throughout the house and yard and truly enjoy their new home. I mean it when I say you’ve truly changed my family’s lives in creating this wonderful place called home.

What’s even more impressive is that we asked you to build an architect’s design without any input and on a very difficult lot. Not only did you execute the plan but you improved upon at every turn. Never would we have imagined a builder sending us “daily sketches” of what we could do better. It was never lost on us that you only did so to truly create the best product one could deliver. You had no other incentive. For that we thank you.

Equally impressive, you managed a huge team of sub-contractors, on a very small lot, with seemingly no issues, arguments or miscues. You delivered our house on budget and on time. I submit that happens only 1 out of 100 attempts. Well done and thank you again.

Finally, you were truly a pleasure to work with. We both know there were times during this process where tough and often quick decisions had to be made. When the going got tough, you always seemed to make it easy and you did so with a great attitude and friendly personality. I welcomed the times we walked “the job” and will reminisce fondly. Thank you.

In short, you will always hold a special place in my family’s lives and I can’t recommend you more highly. Thank you for all that you did Gary.
